MPP's third issue offers a wide selection of materials related to two areas which will be of importance to international public opinion over the upcoming months.
Thus, this issue contains a summary of the work of the European Convention, as well as a review of state positions vis-ŕ-vis the most crucial aspects of Europe's future architecture (A.Michalski/M.Heise). More broadly do we present the relevant thinking of the two main antagonists on the Right - i.e., that of the Christian-Democrats (CDU/CSU) and the Conservatives (D. Heathcoat-Amory).
We also present the opinions of the European and American Right (P. Liese, N.Cameron) concerning the convention against cloning together with the state positions declared at the forum of the UN.
There after we provide a bloc of materials on the Czech ODS: Vaclav Klaus writes about public finances and Jan Zahradil about "Czech Eurorealism".
This issue of MPP then describes and presents fragments of the new book by Roger Scruton "The West and the Rest". Last but by no means least, we commence the publishing of a new section "Conferences and Seminars".
